UNIV 100: Freshman Seminar

This guide is for freshmen students currently taking University 100.

OneSearch

Watch this video to learn how to navigate OneSearch to find materials available through the University Library.

Databases

To find articles using the Library's resources you will need to search in a database.

The following databases and sources contain many full-text articles from newspapers, magazines and journals. If the full-text is not available for the article you want to see, click the blue and red Find Text button or the "Find Text" link to see if the full-text is available in another database.

Access Databases from Off Campus

Only current CSUN students, faculty and staff can access our databases from off campus. To access the databases from off campus, click the name of the database. You will then see a screen asking you to log in, using your CSUN User ID and password (the same ID and password you use to log in to the portal).

For more information, see Accessing Library Resources from Off-Campus and the Library's Copyright Statement (in particular, the Appropriate Use of University Library's Electronic Resources section).
