Ask a Librarian

Need help? You can get help 24/7 through our Ask a Librarian service.

Library Services Moved Online Due to COVID19!

Although the Library building is currently closed, Library faculty and staff are committed to supporting your research needs. If you are a local high school student and would like to locate credible resources virtually, please visit the University Library High School Student Find Credible Sources Online webpage.

Find Articles: Use Library Databases While at the Library

High school students must come to the University Library in-person to access and use University Library articles for research purposes. The Library does not offer remote access to Library materials to non-CSUN students, staff, or faculty.

The tutorial below will show you how to use OneSearch for finding articles at the University Library. Note: Non-CSUN students will not be able to use OneSearch's sign-in features. If you have questions about how to find articles while at the Library, visit the reference desk on the main floor or contact us virtually at Ask a Librarian

Search Strategy for Articles

The University Library offers more than 200 academic-based databases for research. Search our General Information Sources and Databases by Subject to find articles for your assignment.
