Physical Therapy

This Oviatt Library research guide is for the Department of Physical Therapy graduate program. It will help you found resources and give you tips for citing your sources.

About this Research Guide

Oviatt Library is introducing new services and the next generation of  OneSearch.  This guide will be revised as the transitions are completed, so please be patient and return often!

If you see a need for additional information or have suggestions to improve this subject guide, please do contact me.  I am eager to meet you either in person or online!   My contact information is on the left. E-mail is a good way to reach me.

Please be aware that our new generation OneSearch does NOT offer you the full contents of databases such as CINAHL (Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health), so it is necessary to go directly into the EbscoHost database(s), as well as using One Search.

As an example for looking up journals and books in our new OneSearch, please follow this link to  see retrievals for two different search strategies in One Search.  Note the further limits offered on the left.

Call Number ranges for browsing book shelves

  • Browse both online and print books by call number in OneSearch.  But if you are eager to see what Oviatt Library has on the shelf, here are call numbers and the Floor number to find print books, or you can follow the active  links on the  Library of Congress Call Number below to browse both our electronic books  and print collections.  Links are provided by saving the search strategies down with advanced search, by call number, limit to books, and sorted for most recent first
