Are you interested in learning computer programming, 3-D animation, or web design? You can learn these and many other marketable skills online at your own pace, and at no extra cost to CSUN students.
LinkedIn Learning - This online video training database contains over 1,900 lessons for audio/video production, 3-D design, business, software use and development, and much more. Training videos typically take 1 to 4 hours to complete.
O'Reilly Online Learning E-books - This full-text database provides access to many personal and professional development books in the areas of business, media, programming, and much more.

Apply your skills to create products that support your vision. Access to specialized hardware and software is provided to CSUN students through the following services:
Creative Maker Studio - Located in the west wing of the University Library, the Creative Media Studio (CMS) offers Macs and PCs with creative production software for audio, video, web, and much more. A full production recording studio and 3-D printers are also available by appointment. In addition, still and video cameras, microphones, lighting, and other hardware can be checked out for your project.
Computer lending at the library - A variety of laptops, tablets, and associated hardware can be checked out at the University Library..
Software (IT) - CSUN Information Technology has software titles available for download by faculty, staff, and students.
