Information provides a medium for acquiring and building knowledge (i.e. we implicitly know). It therefore has value, and requires that we diligently:
- Evaluate information for its appropriateness to our specific needs
- Know and respect the rights of authors and creators
- Work within the limits granted to users
- Use and support trusted sources of information
- Give credit (attribution) when incorporating others' ideas, words, images, etc. into our own works.
