The University Library will remain partially reopened to CSUN students this summer for individual study, computer use, and access to course reserves. We continue to operate many of our services virtually, including reference and research services and paging of physical materials for checkout.
Here are a few changes to take note of:
Beginning June 1st, the Library will resume access to its print Course Reserves materials for in-library use only on the Main Floor, Monday through Friday 10am to 3:45pm, and materials must be returned the same day. Textbooks and other materials on reserve may be requested through OneSearch and a scanner is available.
As of Thursday, July 1, 2021, the Library will no longer offer books by mail service, except to those needing accommodations. The Locker Pickup Service will still be available. Use the Request feature in OneSearch to request materials. More information and instructions can be found on our Borrowing Print Books and Physical Media page.
High-end library workstations are available through myCSUNsoftware. See our Library Remote Workstation Guide for more details.
Chat with a librarian any time with 24/7 virtual reference. A chat dialog will appear as you browse the library website. You may also access the chat widget directly.
