A CSUN student ID card is required for current CSUN students to check out circulating books and other materials in-person in the University Library. Present your card at the appropriate service desk to check out materials.
Note that Interlibrary Loan/CSU+ materials borrowed from other libraries are checked out to eligible CSUN users and picked up from the Library’s Lockers.

Graduate students have a designated large group-study room in the Garden Level, and individual study rooms on the 4th floor. Keys to these rooms may be obtained at the Guest Services Desk. For more information about study rooms, please visit the study rooms webpage.
The Learning Resource Center (LRC) enables students to improve their academic performance through a variety of learning programs including workshops, one on one and group tutoring, and supplemental instruction classes. The Child and Family Studies Center (CFSC) at California State University, Northridge, is affiliated with the Department of Family & Consumer Sciences (FCS), within the College of Health and Human Development. It serves as an educational setting for young children from the community, and their families, whose goal is to secure strong relationships between home and school. As an instructional unit and research laboratory, the Center strives to promote the professional growth of the university students, faculty, and staff by instructing and training university students to work effectively with young children and their families.
The Office of Graduate Studies is responsible for the graduate domestic admissions process and implementing University graduate policies and procedures. It is also involved in support programs for graduate student funding as well as organizing events aimed at fostering students academic success.
