Activate your membership

WSJ activation

Here are the steps to activate your free membership:

  • Go to WSJ.com/CSUN
    • Login using your CSUN ID and password
    • Select "Create Account"
    • Choose account type:
      • Student
      • Staff
      • Professor
    • Register using your email address.

After you register, you can access WSJ.com from any network or location. 

NOTE: Students will have access through graduation. Faculty and staff will be required to refresh access once a year. An email will notify the user when they need to refresh.

Q. How do current CSUN students, faculty, and staff activate their complimentary membership?

  • CSUN students, faculty, and staff can activate their WSJ memberships through the WSJ.com link.

Q. How far back do the WSJ digital archives go?

  • The digital archives on WSJ.com go back four years on a rolling basis. For content that is older than four years (and back to 1984), use ProQuest Global Newsstream.

Q. Can I access WSJ.com from off-campus?

  • Yes, after activating your membership access from almost any device, anywhere.

Q. How do I read today's Wall Street Journal

  • You can log into WSJ.com, use the "Print Edition" app or the WSJ app on a phone or tablet.

Q. I am having account issues. Who should I reach out to?

  • Any users experiencing account issues can reach out to customer service via email at academicsupport@dowjones.com or by calling 1-800-JOURNAL

Q. For how long will I have access to WSJ.com?

  • Students will have seamless access through graduation. Faculty and staff will be required to refresh access once a year. An email will notify the user when they need to refresh. 

Q. Do students receive additional benefits from The Wall Street Journal after they graduate?

  • Students with activated memberships qualify for the WSJ Grad Pack, which offers a discounted graduate rate that continues two years after graduation. Students will receive an automated email upon graduation from WSJ inviting them to subscribe at those exclusive rates.
