Communication Disorders and Sciences

This research guide is for the Department of Communication Disorders and Sciences. lt will help you find and use Oviatt Library resources as well as how to cite your sources.

Welcome!

Oviatt Library introduced  new services and the next generation of  OneSearch in the Summer 2017..  This guide will be revised as the transitions are completed, so please be patient and return often!

If you need additional information or have suggestions to improve this subject guide, please tell me.  I am eager to meet you, either in person or by email.  My contact information is on the left.  E-mail is a good way to set up an appointment.

Please be aware that our new generation of OneSearch, at this time, does NOT offer you the full contents of databases such as CINAHLPlus with Full Text and other EbscoHost Databases.  It is important to use the EBSCO databases otherwise you may not efficiently find the best articles for your research.    In addition to CINAHL, Academic Search Premier, Communication and Mass Media , Education Full Text, PsychInfo, to name just a few..

If you are looking for books, OneSearch Advanced search is a good starting point .
