The Creative Maker Studio (CMS) is a space where students of any major have access to hands-on multimedia design and production tools at no cost. Some of the offerings available at the CMS include: 

• 3D Printing 
• Audio Recording Room 
• Production Room 
• Sewing Room and machines for checkout 
• Virtual Reality Room 
• Button Maker 
• Vinyl Cutter 
• Multimedia Equipment checkout 
  • Cameras 
  • GoPros
  • Microphones 
  • Lighting equipment 
  • Tripods 
  • Green screens 

The CMS using LibCal Booking system for students to reserve any of the rooms (Sewing, VR, Production), audio recording studio, make 3D printing consultations, creative software computer stations, or craft stations. Reservations are available during CMS operating hours and can be booked up to two weeks in advance.

If the library does not have access to the material you need or if it is checked out, Interlibrary Loan (ILL) will get it for you. To request items, please use the Interlibrary Loan request form. 

Physical loans borrowed through Interlibrary Loan will be delivered to the Library’s Locker Service for pickup. If you prefer to pick up your item(s) inside the Library, please include ‘Pick up in library’ in the notes of your request, and your items will be made available for pickup at the Guest Services front desk.

Course reserves are library materials set aside by instructors for use by students in a specific course. These materials are usually available for a short loan period, like a few hours, to ensure all students in the class have access. They can include books, articles, media, and even scanned documents.

Where can I check out reserve materials?

• Guest Services, Main Floor, Library lobby – most textbooks and class materials.

• Teacher Curriculum Center / Music & Media (TCC / M&M) on the second floor, east wing – Music-related class reserves, CDs, DVDs, juvenile collection, instructional materials, etc.

Browse online by either course number or professors name to see if there are course materials on reserve. 

Tutors at the Learning Resource Center (LRC) are available both in person and via Zoom. Visit their website to book an appointment and learn more about their SMART Lab, which offers support in science, math, and related subjects, as well as their University Writing Center tutoring services.
