Dietetic Internship Program

The purpose of Student Travel & Academic Research (STAR), formally called Academically Related Reserves Account (ARRA), is to encourage the intellectual development of individual CSUN students, or small groups, by partially funding costs associated with scholarly work. Projects may include original research or other academic work, such as papers, posters, performance pieces and presentations at academic or professional conferences or competitions.

The Sylvia Rowe Fellowship Award was established as a tribute to the former International Food Information Council (IFIC) and IFIC Foundation President & CEO, Sylvia B. Rowe, to help promising nutrition, food production and food safety communicators further develop and cultivate their communication skills. The goal of this award is to enhance the recipient’s communications skill set that he or she will then apply to conveying nutrition, food production and food safety information to the public in an academic setting, professional situation (either for-profit or nonprofit sector) or other public venue.

The SNEB Foundation also offers Student Scholarships and the Robin Orr Memorial International Student Scholarship. The goal of the Society for Nutrition Education and Behavior Foundation (SNEBF) Student Scholarship Program is to provide financial assistance to student members of SNEB who wish to attend the SNEB Annual Conference. The Student Scholarship Program allows many national and international students the opportunity to attend the Annual Conference. The scholarship will help students offset the costs of attending the SNEB Annual Conference.
