HIST 674- Seminar Recent U.S. History

This is a course guide for students enrolled in History 674 at California State University Northridge.

Introduction

Welcome to your Library Resource Guide for History 674 at CSUN.  This course is a research seminar concentrating on modern United States History. Students focus on a specific topic within this period or closely related to it that is suitable for primary-source research.  This guide is intended to help you identify possible resources to search for online primary and secondary source information.

Your Assignments

For your assignments and research, you are going to need to search for secondary literature that discusses your selected topic. Identifying key historiographical discussions that have already been published on your topic is a key task.  For this work you will need to search the JSTOR  database and library subscription databases as needed.
