GBUS 600: Analysis of Contemporary Organizations

Interlibrary Loan

Using Interlibrary Loan, you can gain access to almost anything. It takes a few more steps than buying a book or article, but ILL is a free service.

Here is an example from Business Source Premier:

Clicking on highlighted link takes you to OneSearch:

Once you sign in you will see an option to use Interlibrary Loan:

You will log into Interlibrary Loan and the request form will be pre-populated:

For an article, you will receive a message from Interlibrary Loan in a day or two. You then log back in to ILL and download your article:

If you receive a message stating that the item requested is not available for free, you can elect to use your library subsidy. Log into ILL, choose 'Canceled requests' and click on 'Resubmit request.' You will not personally pay for the resource, as you have a graduate student subsidy.

CSU+

As a CSUN student, you may borrow items from the other 22 campuses.

Set your search parameters to "All CSU Libraries":

If you find an item that is only available from other campuses, you can then request the title and it will be mailed to campus and either held in a locker or the Interlibrary Loan Office (depending on the dropdown menu choices).
