GBUS 600: Analysis of Contemporary Organizations

Interlibrary Loan using databases

Using Interlibrary Loan, you can gain access to almost anything. It takes a few more steps than buying a book or article, but ILL is a free service.

Here is an example from Business Source Premier:
Bibliographic record for an article in Business Source Premier that does not have full text available.

Clicking on highlighted link takes you to OneSearch:

Bibliographic record in OneSearch with option to log in to gain access to full text of article.

Once you sign in you will see an option to request a digital copy:
Link to request digital copy of an article.

Then you will see this screen, prepopulated with your email address:
Form to request digital article in OneSearch using CSU+.

Once the article is available, you will receive an email with instructions on how to access and download it.

CSU+

As a CSUN student, you may borrow items from the other 22 campuses, and in some cases, libraries from elsewhere in the US.

Set your search parameters to "All CSU Libraries":

If you find an item that is only available from other campuses, you can then request the title and it will be mailed to campus and either held in a locker or the Interlibrary Loan Office (depending on the dropdown menu choices).
