When you click on one of the databases below, you will be asked to enter your CSUN UserID (not your email adddress) and password, the same that you use to log into CSUN portal and Canvas.
Streaming Video LibGuide: This online streaming video guide provides resources for finding and using streaming video material, from both the University Library and around the web.
Listed below are three streaming services that offer many options for education topics.
While the library building remains closed due to public health requirements, beginning August 24, 2020, current CSUN students, faculty (including Emeritus), and staff will be able to request books and other circulating materials from our collections to be sent to them by mail. Note that books and media on reserve are not available for mailing.
Users may request items through OneSearch:

Our catalog and article search has been combined into a new OneSearch platform. Here you can search for books and e-books, videos, articles, digital media, and more.
You can narrow your search results under the Refine My Results and Resource Type headings by choosing a resource type such as Books or eBooks.
Is the book you want already checked out? Or perhaps the library does now already own a copy? Watch this video to learn how to use OneSearch to request an item available through another CSU library.
Unfortunately, Interlibrary Loan is no longer able to process loan requests for physical items (including items through CSU+) until further notice. Interlibrary Loan will still be able to process article & book chapter requests.
CSU+ is still operating during the pandemic, but more slowly than usual. Articles held digitally by another CSU will be emailed to you as normal. The CSUN library can also scan articles from our own print journals and email them to you while the print collection is unavailable.
Interlibrary Loan has restarted borrowing print books and mailing them to current CSUN students, faculty (including Emeritus), and staff. You will receive your requested materials in one to three weeks, if borrowed from another CSU library (CSU+), or in about three to four weeks from non-CSU libraries, as item availability, public health, and postal services circumstances allow. Contact interlibrary.loan@csun.edu or call (818) 677-2294.
