Barbara Ann Ward Language Center (BAWLC)

The BAWLC is a language learning resource center that supports all languages taught in the Department of Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures. The center offers audio, video, electronic, and text resources for both instructors and students.


Duolingo is a free language learning resource that offers support for languages including French, Spanish, Japanese, Italian, Korean, Chinese,  and Hebrew.


Forvo is a free pronunciation guide that includes millions of words and phrases pronounced in their original languages.
