Then, type in the appropriate subject or keyword in the next search box. (For example, to find tests/scales on depression, type “depression” in that search box.)

ERIC (Proquest)
This resource, sponsored by the U.S. Dept. of Education, provides access to education related journal articles, conferences, government documents, theses, dissertations, reports, audiovisual media, directories, books and monographs from 1966 to present.

  • SEARCH TIP: In advanced search, enter the subject of your test search in the search box (such as, "aptitude") then limit the Document Type to Tests/Questionnaires. (You will need to scroll down in the Document Type field to get to Tests/Questionnaires.)

Mental Measurements Yearbook with Tests in Print
Descriptive information and critical reviews of more than 2,000 commercially-available standardized English-language educational, personality, aptitude, neuropsychological, achievement and intelligence tests.

  • SEARCH TIP: Use Test Reviews Index provided online by the Buros Center for Testing to find reviews available in the Mental Measurements Yearbook. When you've found the name of the test you want, search for it in Mental Measurements Yearbook to avoid paying for the review.

PsycINFO
Provides access to international literature in psychology and related disciplines, such as psychiatry, medicine, nursing, pharmacology, and social work. PsycINFO only contains bibliographic references of unpublished (noncommercial) tests.

  • SEARCH TIP: To find articles with the test/measures included, go into Advanced Search; scroll down to "Look up Tests & Measures" and click on it to open up a search box. 1) Enter the topic of the test you want to search for(e.g. depression). 2) Click "find." 3) A list of tests on your topic will appear below (in this case tests on depression); be sure to click on "next 100" to see all available tests. 4) If the term "[Appended]" appears, then the test is included with the research article in an appendix. 5) Select the appended tests and click "add to search". Once you are back in the main Advanced Search screen, just click "Search" to locate those articles.
